2023 Renegade Verona 36VSB Solar System Componets

Good day folks,

1. I’m exploring the capabilities of the OEM solar powered system (baseline and with options). I’ve searched other threads in this forum, as well as on-line resources for a component list used by Renegade during the installation process to no avail. I’ve seen other threads that discuss upgrading the original system, but no actual component list.

2. Outside of contacting Renegade directly (which is the next step), I’m thinking other owners may already have the information or be interested in obtaining it. I’d doubt any of the information is proprietary in nature. By identifying the components used, I’ll be able to understand and select other components to replace or enhance the performance across the system to meet my requirements. Essentially, I’m looking for every component by:
• manufacturer
• model
• part number
• quantity

3. A blinding flash of the obvious is that everyone has a preference as to system requirements predicated by their desire to go “off-grid”. I’d like to hear if anyone doesn’t care about upgrading the original system and why?

4. Conversely, what are the preferred aftermarket manufacturers and why? What about suppliers and installers?

5. If Renegade were to offer an “option” to upgrade the solar powered system, would you have paid additional for it?

6. Thanks for your time and sharing of information!

Semper fi,
Philip

My 22 Verona has Victron shunt and meter, a Jaboni controller and Dragonfly(Battleborn) batteries and 3 175 watt panels that I don’t know the manufacturer of. So far it seems adequate for most uses, not enough power for A/C or induction cooktop. It was factory installed. I believe the Jaboni controller to be the weak link and plan to change it in the future. It’s not integrated with the firefly and the Bluetooth Victron app is the best way to set it and monitor it.

I think most people serious about solar use aftermarket installers. A lot more bank for the buck.

I'm definitely one of those that believe in letting the experts do what they do best. Am trying to increase my knowledge of the system as a whole and by component.
