Advantage of Inverters in Parallel?

I have the 2 MultiPlus inverter option on my new Verona LE. I am wondering what the advantages to them being in parallel is over have each one operate separately?

The only reason that I can see would be if one of them can't power a load by itself. I'm thinking it would be based on your use case.

Mine are not in parallel, but in a split phase configuration. You can do parallel, but then both have to run off the same phase when plugged into 50 amp. The biggest reason to have them in either split phase or parallel networked together is single point of config/control. The Cerbo controls charging across all of your devices based on voltages, max charge rates, etc. So if I was driving down the road with my DC to DC charger, solar, and running my generator so the inverters could charge, the Cerbo manages the charging from all 4 of those sources wrt charging algorithm, voltage, current, etc. and can prioritize certain charging sources.

Based on how they come out of the factory installed/configured, there is no load-sharing/assistance between the two inverters. Each powers their own set of circuits. They can load-assist based on shore power for their bank of devices, but not between the 2.

Do you think they typically come in split phase configuration from the factory? I have good experience with a MultiPlus II on my last right not the same understanding of the 2 MultiPlus system from Renegade.

I have only seen the Dual Victrons come in split phase. When they used Magnums, they were just standalone. Read the entertaining thread "Dead '24 Classic with Dragonfly...". Lots of info on how they are configured, shortcomings, etc.
