All,
I have been chasing an annoying sound on our 2021 Verona for several months. It is a tapping sound on the right side of what I thought was the cab over bunk. Some days we could drive 30-40 minutes and never hear it. Other days it was continuous. The sound was loud enough that it could not be ignored, yet while driving and while parked I could not locate it. I took the plastic pockets out above the sun visors, more than once, in an effort to reach inside the cab. I checked everything in the bunk itself to eliminate anything that might could cause the problem. I also checked the roller shade in the cab over bunk. Nothing!
I could never duplicate the sound while sitting still. Secondly, I was not able to locate the sound while driving with my wife riding shot gun. One day, out of shear frustration, I begun to take my fist and randomly pound on things in these areas to see if I could replicate the sound. Then it happened!! I hit the top of the A pillar on the passenger side, right next to the windshield, and there it was!!! Turns out the plastic trim piece that covers the A pillar was coming in contact with the windshield which resulted in the knocking sound. To fix this, I backed the three screws out on the A pillar, slid a six-inch piece of bicycle tire tubing between the plastic trim and the A pillar, then retightened the screws. Now she rides quiet as church mouse. Ok quiet as a church mouse riding in a diesel truck, but no knocking sounds.
This was likely an isolated issue to our coach, but just in case others are having a similar challenge, I wanted to pass it along.
Happy travels!
