Basement rust

I am currently shopping for RV. I love the Valencia, but hubby heard there are rust issues in the basement compartments. He like Dynamax because of the Roto-Formed basements. Any feedback would be great

I haven't had any storage compartment rust issues. Its painted. Its steel. If you scratch it or let water stand in the compartment I could see you developing surface rust. But it would take a lot of abuse and time to actually rust through a storage compartment. They are very heavy duty.

Make sure to read the posts about Dynamax storage compartments sagging or becoming deformed. Pros/cons to each approach.

No issues yet but only owned three months.

I actually like the painted steel compartments vs. the roto form. Much more heave duty.

As mentioned: It would take some severe abuse, neglect and time for rust to cause significant issues.

We also looked seriously at Dynamax, went with the Renegade in the end.

Side by side, Renegade was just higher quality IMHO.
