We've had both and were please with the quality of both. Our Renegade Classic has the bed over the cab, which is a big plus since it is pretty big. I thought the cab on the Renegade would feel cramped because of the bed over it, but it doesn't at all. It feels very roomy just like our Showhauler that didn't have the extra bed. Our Showhauler was a Volvo chassis and the Renegade a Freightliner Cascadia, and I liked driving both. Nice air ride seats, plenty of power and easy engine access. On the Renegade I really like the Detroit 12-speed transmission, but have read good things about the Allison as well. Ultimately I don't think you can go wrong with Showhauler or Renegade - I'd buy either one again.
