Did you ever receive any info regarding the wide screen monitor setup? I am looking for one as well.

Thanks!

I see you now have that W I D E screen monitor. Have you considered mounting it overhead like I got in my setup. It's nice to have the images close to your face and within a short nod. It's a bit more of an installation effort but well worth it. I snaked my cables up thru the passenger side windshield support.

I considered it but not sure I'd really like it. I do like your set up though. I'm thinking more along the lines that I will be scanning across and it'll be in line of sight while checking the mirrors. also the co pilot will be able to occasionally mind the towed item from the rear camera.
Where did you mount to the ceiling? Photo?

It's been a while after I posted pics of my setup. I learned a few things since and made a few changes and modifications. I discovered that the RAM X phone holders became a real PITA. The rubber tits kept falling off, it was awkward to overcome the spring tension when inserting/removing the phones and the hassle of plugging/unplugging the phone USB cable every time we would need to use the phone elsewhere. Our Samsung phones have wireless charging capabilities and we also added Newdery 10000mAh Qi wireless battery cases to them. With the extra thickness, the phones would pop out of the cheezy rubber-titted RAM X mounts. I put an end to that experience and replaced the RAM holders with wireless charging holder that are capable of holding our thick phone packs and are designed to hold phone on motorcycles. No more need to plug in a USB cable every time mount/dismount a phone.

The other thing I did was replace my Garmin RV890 with a Garmin RV1090. This device is the most handy instrument of all. The location where I mounted it is perfect. The voice interaction is outstanding. But did have to move closer to it at times to read the results of a query. With my gradual deteriorating vision , this change to a 10" allows me to read the display without wearing glasses.

In our previous motorhome I had a dash-mounted monitor for full-time display of cameras. When you split the screen, all the images are much smaller and the added distance from my face made them virtually useless. Also, looking to your right while turning left was awkward too. That experience is what drove me to finding this WIDE screen and mounting it overhead. I made a custom hidden bracket that attached to the plastic cubby which is now secured with a couple screws to the metal above the cubby. I dunno if I have any detailed pics of this.

I also split each camera video signal and fed it to the Infotainment system in the dash. I can still display the cameras on that screen as well, but I never do. This approach could also satisfy your copilot requirement and free up the dash space for a GPS.
