I have confirmed that TempCoat does extend to the slide outs.
In addition to the AH heat exchanger in the Sewage/Water Management area we are now adding TempCoat and the 110v Marine Grade heater to this area.

110v Marine Grade heater?

Do I need to add the 110v Marine Grade heater to mine too? I do not remember that on the list?

I see Detroit has upped the DD13's hp this year with release of the Gen 5. Now 525, was 505 last year.

Interesting on the DD13, any change to the torque?
Anything change on the DD16?

I researched both, the torque on the DD13 did not change just the HP. Interesting that it also lost 60lbs.
The DD16 has not changed.

Have a new order sheet - and Extended Warranty Question

This afternnon I got a new order sheet - six pages as before but it is almost 6 megabytes so have to shrink it down to 3 megs or below to put it here.

Extended Warranties - threads here talk about them ad nauseum. We are going to buy one due to all the high tech stuff that one bill could be $10,000 or much more even, as threads on here discussed.

Basically two programs - 1. Wholesale Warranties. and 2. America's RV Warranty.

1. Wholesale Warranties gave me a price today on Seven years, 70,000 miles, $100 deductible, $10,287 prepaid. The price for the much less expensive Explorer was $9,750 plus or minus, which seems weird to me.

2. America's RV Warranty - for the Explorer it was a bit over $2,000 less. in the $7,500 to $7,700 area. I have NOT yet got a price on the Classic.

Both of these claim to have two things we are very interested in:

A. Consequential Damage - e.g. if a fan belt (not covered) breaks and damages the radiator (covered) then normally the radiator would NOT be covered, but with this rider it is covered. For any damage by any uncovered part (and there are exclusions) to a covered part.

B. Road Hazard damage for the MH and the toad tires and wheels. He said if is damaged, as long as it has 2/32 inches of tread, we will get a new tire and wheel if wheel was damaged.

Any thoughts, ideas or comments?

Another small change..................no propane

We have decided, since no real oven is available, to NOT have the propane just for 2 or 3 burners on the cooktop. So we are going to delete the propane tank, LP controller, etc.

Vents in the battery bay put in by Renegade?

Now, I hear, that with four batteries, in hot weather, I need two fans and vents in the battery bay to keep it cool?

Anyone know about this?

Renegade and Salesman say vents are there already in the plans

Factory guy plus salesman say vents for both chassis batteries and lithium ion batteries are there so it won't get too hot.

Got the price today - about 13.7% off MSRP.

Again, thanks to everyone for commenting and giving me ideas in this thread

Not the battery bay, the inverter bay if you have a second inverter in there. They produce the heat. I have 4 lithium batteries in my Explorer ERB and have no heat problems in the battery bay but did have in the inverter bay until the extra fans were added.
