Freightliner S2 chassis Seat Belt Warning

This problem is wiht a 2022 Renegade Vallencia 35MB. The seat belt warning light only illuminates when the engine is first started as it tests all the warning lights. The light never comes on and no chime is heard when the seat belt is disconnected and the parking brake is off (tranny in gear and me sitting in the driver's seat). The manual says the light should be on any time the seat belt is disconnected and the parking brake off. The chime is supposed to sound for 10 seconds.

I took it to the local Freightliner service center and they say it doesn't have those features (they claimed to have looked at the schematic and there is no seat belt wire). I suspect they are wrong but my question is to others with a S2 or M2 Renegade do you get the warning light and/or chime?

I called Freightliner and they said Renegade installs the seats and to call them. Based on your Verona not having the light or chime I suspect Renegade chose not to include the wiring in the seat belt buckle latch. I'd heard that Renegade removes the seats and reupholstered them but now I suspect they buy the seats elsewhere. I now understand why none of the seats shown in the manual match the ones in the RV.

You are correct that Renegade does change the seats out during production. I would shoot Woody an email, he responds rather quickly that way.
