Frig wants to tip out!!

Hello
We have a 2021 37VSB Verona. We must travel a VERY rough road when we leave our home. At some of the big chuck holes I hear a loud bang. What I found out is that the frig is tipping out at the top. It can come out about 6 inches before it stops. Should the frid not be fastened to the floor? If I grab the top of the frig I can tip it out without too much effort. Can others do this with their frig?? Last thing I want is the frig to totally fall out!!
Help

Not sure of the Verona but most class A's are fastened at the top to prevent tipping like you described. Can you remove the upper trim and check?

Not sure if it’s relevant, but my Valencia fridge has a screw through each front foot into the floor, and, more importantly, a set of three screws driven through the face frame backing of the upper cabinet over the fridge tying into a black carpet-wrapped 1/2”X 3” plank that sits at an angle to lock in the top of the fridge.

I had to remove the fridge to fix an ice maker water line leak, but it all tightened up nicely, with zero movement.

Sounds like the upper security is either missing or something has come loose in your case?

Steve

Yes mine has the screws and the wood trim piece at the top, but it still allows the frig to move out. I think I need something between the underside of the top shelve and the frig at the back of the frig. Thinking of some expand foaming might do the job. I will need to put something so the foam does not bond to the frig for removal in the future.

Ok back home and I looked into my fridge tipping problem and this is what I found. After removing the top wood trim piece I could see a 2x4 that was mounted at the back of the fridge to stop it from tipping out. The problem is the 2x4 was about 1 inch above the fridge. The 2x4 should have been mounted closer to the top of the fridge. Not wanting to remove the fridge to lower the 2x4 to the top of the fridge I choose to use some foam blocks between the 2x4 and the top of the fridge.

Right now the fridge will not tip out, all is good!
Pictures are all upside down, not sure how to fix. Fridge is at the top.
