Recently purchased a 2011 Renegade Classic. The previous owner removed the electric cook-top and replaced it with a small free standing gas range that is on the one and only slid out in the rig. I am concerned with how he plumbed the gas line thru the slide out floor. The gas line is a continuous rubber line going up thru the floor. He did not use a rubber grommet to protect from chaffing. Instead he used silicone calk to create a grommet.
Anyone out there have a gas appliance in the slide out? And if so how was the gas line plumbed. Better yet does anyone know if RV manufactures have construction guidelines like the boating industry.

My gas stove was in a slide ,,took it out and went electric. The gas hose was a large loop and went thru the floor with 'goop' of some sort around the hole. Sealed the elements and prevented chafing. Was factory install. Holiday Rambler 5th whl.
