Heat in Valencia Bay

Hey All...

Valencia Wet Bay that is...

Coming up with options for heating the wet bay in our 35MB.

Going to try polyimide heat plates/disks.

Someone on the forum turned me on to them.

If that individual sees this thread, let me know! I should have written down your name but I spaced it out and cannot find it after looking through numerous possible threads.

Anyway, if anyone else has experience with these disks, the same type of thing used to provide heat in satellites, etc., please let me know.

Trying to figure out how many I need to adequate provide plenty of heat down there without harming anything else.

These suckers get extremely hot for their size and power usage. If you go straight 12V they can go as high as 190 degrees Celsius. That is way hot Fahrenheit.

I ordered up these disks along with a temperature controller...now just need to figure out how to install.

Goal is to power them via the same switched power source used for the tank heater pads.

Any input appreciated.

And I hope the nice guy who turned me on to these sees this!
