Intermittent stair return issue

The stairs have started retracting part way when the door is closed. I flip the stair switch once or twice and then they work fine. Any ideas? I have a 22 Valencia 38RB.

I did a little research and pretty sure my problem is related to the magnets on the door. When the magnet on the door aligns with the magnet on the frame it signals that the door is closed and the steps retract. If they are not fully aligned when the door closes the steps only partially retract, or not at all.

Happened to me, realized it sounded a little rough.
After cleaning and lubricating the bearings all is good.

Mine does this sporadic 23 model. I have Lubed it and didn’t help. When it does not close all that way I open to door back and shake the bottom step back and forth side to side and it closes all the way when I close it door. Only does it every now and then. Very strange I’ll have to try that switch next time and see. Renegade said to lube it but it has done it since I took delivery even after the Lube.
