Good Evening Everyone:

As a way of introduction I live in the Great Lake state (near Lansing-I know at least one other member has the Lansing Area listed). I retired last August after 31 years of state service. I loved what I did but it was simply time to pull the plug.

For the last 24 months I have been looking at MHs as I knew I wanted to travel once I was done with work. I went from wanting a Class As to B+, and then back to a used Prevost/Newell. My kids can could affirm that I wanted champaign on a beer budget. eventually came across the Super C and after much research settled on a Renegade Verona 40 LRB (the significant other (SO) wanted her own bath).

Finally after months of lurking/searching I found a used 2018 40LRB and we agreed to terms a couple of days ago.

I realized that now the real work begins. (my SO mention to someone today that she never liked the toaster we have, so it will go in the motorhome and she will get a new one for the house.) I think the first purchase needs to be a TPMS, after that so many other items need to be bought.

I understand that everyone has their own views and preferences (much like asking about what is the best pickup or the best oil to use). But if you have suggestions on what a newbie should consider I am all ears.

As I mentioned I am looking for a TPMS to install. From my online reading/research I should also consider a surge protector, water hoses, water pressure regulators, snappads, window covers, ladders, system monitors, fire extinguishers,... You name it I am all ears.

I have read some lengthy articles related to various modifications including some related to engine/transmission performance monitors. All I can say is that folks on this forum are far mor adventurous when it comes to making alterations to their vehicles than I have been. But I am willing to learn and adapt.

Thanks in advance for any advise you might have.
