Opinions on wind and driving Valencia?

Curious to know the general opinions of driving the Valencia and wind / being pushed around.

We’ve had ours for almost 4 years and 50k miles. In 30+ mph winds/gusts in can be annoying but I’ve never felt unsafe or out of control like my class A felt all the time. It’s a big box and side winds will definitely apply a side load.

Wind gusts can be very unpredictable. When high wind conditions shut it down and wait it out. It is not pretty when a class A goes on it's side.

Find that the S2 and M2 chassis were much better at handling cross winds. My class A DP got pushed over a whole lane once. I've never been pushed anywhere near that hard in the super C's. Big difference.

I also find that I don't have to work as hard at keeping in the lane compared to the DP. The driver position in the A is offset a little compared to what we're used to and requires more attention in normal driving conditions.

Last summer I drove through some wicked winds in Nebraska. Not a problem.

When things got super windy I did slow down a little and that helped. I would have done that regardless of what vehicle I was driving as there winds were unreal.

That said, anytime you are driving what is essentially a rolling billboard wind can move you around.

Bottom Line: Very happy with the Valencia and how she rides.

PS...I did change the stock front shocks with gas permeable Bilsteins. Highly recommend.

Yes you do get pushed around but it’s manageable. A little more of a challenge if you have a trailer or a larger flat tow vehicle such as mine.
