Receiver Adapter

We are buying a new to us 2012 Renegade Explorer and need a 2in receiver. Would prefer something like pictured but I can't seem to figure out where/what to order.

I know they exist, I have seen them in pictures on almost every rig I've looked at. Ours currently just has a ball mount in that channel.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, is there just a regular receiver tube behind that channel?

Renegade offers a hitch that has a 2" receiver, instead of a ball mount. Just contact their parts department.

Showhauler makes this.. Both receivers in one unit... I'm sure you could just buy a receiver tube and have a quality local welding shop fix you up.Click image for larger version

Reese adapter

I got an Reese adapter from etrailer that converts 3 to 2 inch for my tow bar. Works great and did not cost much.
