I don't know what to say about the black PVCs you noted, except that there was no question water came off the roof until I shut off the black tank rinse at the podium.

I will be at the Renegade Plant for a week in early June and I will add your observation to my list of questions.

Every tank on every boat that I ever owned had a vent to allow air out when fluid went in.

Pictures as promised. Again, not my best work.

With Renegade, Black and White wires both are used for ground. Red generally (not always) is 12V positive.

The signal wires need to be tied together as the system is a closed loop network. Just like multiplex wiring (Firefly etc) the address of the sensor determines which one is checked and all the signals travel over the same 2 wires and that is why we tie all the old signal wires together to be common.

See Level uses the cut tabs to set the network address.

It's amazingly simple as it is velcro on bottom, so just pull it away (gently).

You'll find on end glued and the other end loose, pull the loose end and re do as many times as needed.

But of course - it's a physics thing - and on the 2019 LE LRB it's on the roof. Could be the vent on twc88's 2017 it is under the coach.

JCAT: I assume that you are aware that the two AC units train down from the roof vie one 1"1/2 PVC pipe that is in the center of the coach? This is a very nice feature that prevents H2O from running down the side of the coach I am not aware of any "overflow" feature for the holding tanks on the Verona.

The AC drain under the coach is a great feature we are glad to have. The posting asking about the pipes in the center under the coach - I expect you are correct - that is what he found - the AC drain.

Well, I know Renegade does not promote the "vent" for the Black Tank (or the Gray for that matter) as an "overflow". Not many owners like me will over-fill their Black Tank with pressured rinse water - but I guess I would have to say it works as an overflow. And your shower will become the overflow for your Gray tank should you ever exceed the 75 gallon capacity - would not be a pleasant outcome. I do not intend to test that "feature".

Om my 17 Verona the grey overflows on the top of the tank (not the shower as in other rvs). It soaks the carpet liner as it comes down the sides of the tank and fills up the tank compartment. Its a real mess that I am careful not to repeat.

[QUOTE=JCAT;4736561Well, I know Renegade does not promote the "vent" for the Black Tank (or the Gray for that matter) as an "overflow". [/QUOTE]

I parked nose to a stilted building a few minutes ago and climbed up to the second level to take some pictures of my roof. The mission was to check for vents. There are three things up there...two on port side and one on starboard side...that I suspect to be vents for the refer, WD and the microwave. I also wanted to see where my solar panels are located.

Then we missed the dog and he was up there smoking a cigar and taking pot shots at the neighbor's cat. Pensacola Beach RV Resort may have a rule against this.

This really doesn't sound right to me. If your grey water overflows on top of your tank, it seems like there is probably a leak. The leak could be in either the drain going into the tank or the vent exiting the tank. In either case, it could be something as simple as a pipe joint where ends are mated together, but not properly glued. That kind of an issue could go unnoticed until your grey tank fills. At that point, rising water levels will flood the offending spot resulting in an observable leak. Until then, grey water could easily just "shoot past" the leaking area.

I know no one wants to hear anything like this and no one wants to endure a service appointment. However, it might be something that you could address yourself, given some reasonable access to the top of the tank. Just sayin' . . .

Done... Its wonderful knowing how much your tanks actually have in them... Sure beats the old "Wonder" gauge.... Look at it and wonder how much its off
