Are you guys able to run your ac on the batteries. My verona doesn’t appear to even try to kick on the ac without shore power or genie running. Wondering if there’s a setting I’m missing.
There is no setting to run an a/c off batteries. The physical circuit breakers for the a/c's are on the power panel that is only energized from shore power or generator running.

You would have to have an additional inverter installed and have one A/C unit wired to it and of course have enough battery power to run it, that is how Renegade does it

Hello
Please go to post #103 that will tell you how to run AC on batteries. The problem is the Firefly unit will not allow unless connected to shore power.
We ordered a 2023 XL (getting it in a week or two!) and we got the factory optional second invertor that runs the middle A/C unit. It also comes with 780AH worth of lithium and we are going to add another 780AH and as much solar as we can fit. The plan is to be able to park this and my race trailer on the paddock all weekend at hot places and never have to turn the generator on (Or very little).

Suggest you look at adding solar panels on top of your trailer as well. Lots of easy real estate up there to take advantage of. You can setup a simple plug in to attach to the motorhome with an additional charge controller or add stand alone batteries and an inverter in the trailer (if you have room) then plug into it with the motorhome. It won't be cost effective compared to running the gen for short periods but if you really want to avoid running a gen its something to consider.
