Thanks for all of the information here... clearly a good deal of work done here...
I tried the RBP exhaust tip on our 2020 36VSB and found the body of the exhaust tip to interfere with the bay door that opens above it. Certainly looked better than the stock claw but without relocating the exhaust pipe I could not eliminate the interference with the bay door...
I'm very interested in the solution you come up with to the existing video monitor... I would like to make use of the existing cameras, but I find the original garmin screen to be too small and it's location is not at all conveniently seen partially due to being too far from where I sit in the drivers seat and due to glare...
Again... Thanks for all the work you are putting into this !

Is there a rather straight forward way for me to determine if my 2020 Verona has FS enabled or disabled ?
Thanks

Thanks for the reply - You'll know it, the engine feels less powerful than a 6.7. First tell-tale is you end up in 4- at 20-25 mph.
Let us know what you find - Mike

Not without the right equipment. Send your VIN to Renegade and ask them.

Hello Guys - I've had a number of request regarding the components used for the air dump on my Verona - The T fittings is a bag if 5 pieces, you'll only need one of each. I like to keep an extra set in the coach just in case. Here is some snapshots of each part with the description and the Ebay seller if you like. The Switch I picked up at Autozone.
If you need any other information just post it on the this thread!

Switch relocation
Hey Mike, great write up and work! Pilot and engineer here as well. Perhaps I missed something, but where did you relocate the Cruise Control and other switch to? Or was that what the photo depicted?

Thanks for the reply- the cruise speed switch was positioned two switches down, so I just flipped their position. The engine brake was on the dash by the E-Brake knob so I switched it out to have the Brake by the wheel. Don't recall what was there, I think maybe the or fog something seldom used. Most important, on both switches the factory wiring is long enough to reach, so there is no cutting or altering the wire harness. It's one of the best mods I made since these two switches are constantly used!
Thanks Mike

Thanks for the quick response Mike! I did similar mods, , Li Fe Po4 system that is, not to be the same power extent of course, to my arctic Fox 811 truck camper, Enough to be able to ditch the noisy 2200 watt generator for a built-in gas grill instead. Lithium is amazing when done right. Hitting the road today to go inspect a 2020 36-ft Verona, a big jump, and a big decision, but the truck camper showed us that we really enjoyed being out on the road together, but for long haul trips it is entirely too small for our family. I'm already looking forward to adopting some of the modifications you've described. Thanks for doing all that work for us!

Wow you have to be excited thinking of the Verona. The Renegade is a great coach with bullet-Proof construction. I did want to make it clear that a lithium system is not going to replace your generator, you will find yourself with the batteries depleted and the only way to stay out there is to fire up the genny and use the Inverter to charge the lithium back at 150 amps. The 8K Onan is now an Inverter Generator this means it only runs as fast as needed so charging the Lithium battery at 150 amps the generator is just above idle sipping ounces of fuel. Let us know if you get her!!
Here's my recent Lithium Upgrade video on the Verona check it out:

Thanks Mike for the great Lithium video. Has the Lithium technology advanced enough to be able to work in HOT areas like the SW USA where temps run 110 to 115 in the late spring thru late fall?
I live in the HOT SW USA and have used Lifeline AGMs to cope with hot areas when driving and over nighting.

Fuel Sense 2.0

In this Comprehensive article, I’ll share dozens of modifications and improvements of which you might consider for your Verona, as well as some great Fall images taken here in the scenic mountains and lakes of North Georgia, where I reside.
I’ll also share a number of technical modifications, such as my “$46 Air Bag Dump”, which takes only 4 seconds to drop the coach, adding a new dimension to leveling or squeezing into a garage with only 12’2" of clearance. Unlike some costly air dumps installed incorrectly by a few dealers, this dump leaves all your original air lines to the bags un-touched. Most important, it won't dump the secondary air tank and requires only one 12volt valve instead of two to operate.
I’ll also included some images of my upcoming video on a “state of the art” Lithionics lithium battery upgrade, where I converted the Verona to all lithium system, capable of even running the roof top air conditioner for up to 8-10 hours (50% cycle). My design included moving house batteries location (now lithium) from its “open air” drivers side compartment, where the batteries were exposed to extreme temperatures, road dust, and tire salt spray, to the opposite side of the coach, to a larger compartment which is temperature controlled. This compartment also houses the Xantrex inverter, BMS, solar controller and battery isolator, to allow very short cable runs. This unique design, captures “Free Heat” generated from the inverter and AquaHot compartment to supplement the Lithionics batteries internal self-heating system for uninterrupted operation when encountering freezing temperatures. The video will also include installation of a 1.5kw Xantrex Flex Panel Solar system, for those interested.
I’ll also disclose a Programming Flaw called “Fuel Sense” in the Alison’s shifting protocol, where a simple programing change, reduced my 0-60 speed by a full 7 seconds, offering a major difference in overall power and hill climbing. I’ll also share a number of other modifications as installing a macerator, a dust-free exhaust pipe, high glossing your interior, CB installation, Exhaust Brake & Cruise switch Relocation, LED’s, BlueFire’s Virtual Dashboard, plus many other tips on this great conversion from the folks at Renegade.
Since I will update this article from time to time with additional tips, I placed it on my server. To view the article please click on the link below.

Hey Mike, slowly learning more about our new to us Verona 36VSB. I was reading a Freightliner blog yesterday and it talked about this Fuel Sense 2.0 and pointed out that you can override it using the Mode button on the tranny panel. Have you tried this? I see there are only two modes, normal and another that is supposed to disable Fuel Sense. I've not tried it yet as I just got her all leveled and slides are out for us to get our critters used to their new home away from home.

Thanks for the reply - That is false information concerning at least my 2020 model. The mode option will change things slightly for more fuel economy, such as it takes off in 2nd gear only making the problem worse. I spoke to over a dozen techs concerning the problem and the only solution was to have the "Fuel Nonsense" disabled by an Allison Dealer.
Enjoy your great coach!
Stay safe - Mike
