I doubt there is misrepresentation here. The MB Sprinter chassis is necessarily 1-2 years older than the Renegade RV model year. Renegade has to purchase, order, and receive the chassis before the RV can be built. I think that is true for all Class C's.
My 2015 Villagio is built on a 2013 or 2014 MB chassis. It is important to know the actual chassis model year when dealing with Sprinter repairs.
Hope that helps.

Agree with all the others! We have the HAB model and have had warranty work! Just have to be sure dealer starts warranty period properly!
We changed a few things: deeper sink with new faucet, the original set up was horrible! Replaced bed with a American Leather hide a bed! Expensive but worth it! Now bed stays made when we put it up!

Hi Everyone,
2018 Renegade Vienna Model #25VFWS
I assume chassis is 2017 Sprinter., getting SRS warning on Dash. "SRS restraint system visit workshop" I took to local MB dealer, the service guy talked me out of having them look at it. He said, we'll charge you $150 and the diagnosis will be "someone (renegade) other than mercedes messed with the seats so it's not a MB issue." Anyone had this issue? Know how to resolve? SRS warning is constant so I definitely need it resolved.

I had the problem with my 15 WGO View. I took it to the Mercedes dealer, they told me that they would charge me if it’s a Winnebago issue. They fixed it and did not charge me. I would fix it as it’s your airbag. Your dealer won’t be able to remove codes.
My issue was the wire line from the seat to the system.

We had a 2019 Villagio that had the same warning. We took it to the MB dealer and they informed us that if you have a front seat that swivels the RV manufacturer is supposed to reroute the wires so they are not cut when you turn the seat which is what happened to ours giving us the same warning. MB said it wouldn't be a warranty item and take it to the RV dealer. Shortly after that I saw the following post on the Renegade Villagio/Vienna Facebook site. I have not looked into the recall but the discussion on Facebook indicated the recall might be for additional years.
NHTSA Safety Recall for certain model year MB 2019-20 vehicles. “Certain Sprinter vehicles that are equipped with front swivel -seats, the wires in the seats, the wires in the seat wiring harness could become jammed and damaged in the swivel-seat frame “. Could affect airbag .............

. Yes this is number 7 Motorhome. Bought a2021 Renegade Vienna about 6 months ago and love it Nearly 7500 so far. Took a few week to get used to the downsize from a 38 footer but my wife and I agree we will never go back up size. Less fuel, less maintenance, easier to drive, and plenty of storage for two retired sightseeing seniors.

Anyone know where to find the UIN/coach serial number on a 2015 Renegade Villagio?

I just got a 2021 Vienna RMC model. Murphy bed. This is my first MH and so far very pleased with everything. Have not had it out yet except for short jaunts.
Couldn’t find fresh water drain for several days. Finally located under floor in vanity.
Weighed in at 10,500 curb wt no occupants.
CCC not as much as I thought but it’ll do. Don’t think I’ll be carrying full water for sure.
I’m an obsessive RTFM guy and that took 2 weeks or so. Time to hit the road soon.
Love to hear from other owners.

Ready for my 1st RV
Hello everyone! My name is Jarred and I am just about to pull the trigger and buy a Vienna 25FWC. This will be my first RV and I am going to full time it, solo, and with a 2 door Jeep Wrangler as my toad.
I am reading a lot about people having issues with their slides but other than that, there hasn't been too much else that has me concerned.
Does anyone have any suggestions, advice, or warnings before I move ahead with the purchase?
Thanks in advance!
Jarred

DEF warning
My 2015 Villagio no longer warns when DEF should be replenished. Anyone else? The local Mercedes dealer where I get oil changes repeatedly has told me not to worry about it because it will not affect engine performance in any way. Doesn't seem right to me.

Yes, I recently bought a used 2014 Renegade Villagio 25' Class B. Its my 3rd motorhome. Others were 1976 GMC Eleganza, and Holiday Rambler Navigator. I read that you can downshift and upshift by moving the shifting lever sideways. The first time I tried it, I got a check engine light on the dash that won't go away. What gives?

If you've never done RVing, you might want to rent one and take a sizable trip. It could tell you a lot what's important and what is not.

There is a major recall/update going on. They are updating emission programing and replacing parts as required to make it legal as a result of them fudging compliance. Once done there is a cash rebate available. It is time sensitive so give MB a call or go to their site to get more info. It may also cover your DEF indicator issue? I have a 2016 on a 2015 chassis and it is part of the program.

Vienna/Villagio Facebook page
If you are interested, we have a Facebook page for the Vienna/Villagio owners and we have about 450 members at this point. Just do a search on Facebook for this group and it should pop up quickly. It is a very active group.
