Touring the Renegade Factory

Has anyone toured the Renegade factory? I'm considering doing this and was wondering besides doing a comparison of models can you gain a knowledge of systems.

I'm hoping to get a better understanding of how thing work so I can troubleshoot and fix when something breaks after the warranty period.

I did a very brief tour when we picked up our Ikon last month. Got to see a few stations and see how things were done. I simply did not have the time to do a full tour or I would have. It as still very valuable. Everyone was very friendly, and the factory was pretty clean and appeared well organized.

There is actually a video on YouTube of a guy doing a walk through of the factory. He says that the factory is some what loud with tools and work being done so he just plays music while walking through. He does show you different rigs in different stages of the building process.. Worth the watch if you have time to kill.

Yea didn't show me either. Trip to Indiana worth the time maybe? I have always wanted to but just never took the time.

My factory tour was fun and interesting, but it wasn’t nearly long enough to allow time to crawl around units in build for purposes of tracing systems or taking detailed photos for future reference. YMMV.

There are actually two factories. One is Ikons, XL, Classic, Explorer, and Verona LE models. The rest are across the lot in the other building. I toured the large one when I purchased my XL (Actually twice) but generally the tours occur after the workers are gone for the day.

We did the tour about 2 years ago. We were disappointed to say the least. Everything was shut down and they weren't even building a Verano like ours.
