I picked mine up and installed in a Classic. I hope they ride very well as they sure are not pretty in an RV.

Ok patience is not my best virtue. With a dime holding up a dollar, I ordered the brackets from Suburban seats today. They will be here Saturday!

My philosophy as well. Especially when you have the timeslot for a project like the one you are faced with. Get-r-done!

Seat update
I installed the new Bostrom Wide Ride Seats on Monday. Tuesday we drove 5 hours to Houston which was a good test. The following are both positive and negative observations plus a few learnings from the experience:
Positives:
1. Much more cushion ride and back support than factory seats
2. More options for adjustment than factory seats
3. Much preferred ultra-leather over factory seats
4. Tan color closely mirrors the factor seats (blends well with overall interior)
5. Seats ride level without the need for shims.
Negatives
1. Arm rests are definitely shorter than factory seats. You are right MagnaTudes, I do not care for that. I did finally get seat adjusted to offset to minimize that issue.
2. Seat cushions are shorter than factory seats. At 5'8" that is still ok. Wife is 5'2" and loves them. If one has longer legs, that could be a disadvantage.
Other learnings
1. Original seat brackets on the 2021 Verona, are the same brackets required for mounting these Bostrom seats. No need to order additional brackets.
2. The Bostrom seats came with an additional 2" riser attached. This must be removed prior to install, or the seats ride too high.
3. Note that seat heaters are optional. Not a big deal for us, but definitely an oversight when I ordered.
4. Pivot is also optional for those looking.
As with most things in the RV world, nothing is perfect. That said, we are happy with the change and would do it again.

I hope your new Bostrom seats are working out ok for you? Your post is very helpful. We have a 2020 Verona 36 vsb and my wife is short and has issues with the seat height being too tall, not comfortable dangling her feet even after I built up a base with cushions on the floor etc. She also would like more recline but I don't know if any seats have a narrow enough back to clear the pillars separating the cab and coach. Not much leg room to work with on the passenger side with the cab air filter where it's at on the floor as well. I know it's been a year since your update but I would appreciate your input.
If anyone else has updated their seats, please let me know, thanks!

Hi JW,
Yes, we love our seats. We have since logged close to 10,000 miles after installing them last March. As for my wife, she does keep about a 6-inch-tall wood block under her feet to avoid them dangling. This requires a little explanation. I enjoy taking advantage of the air ride seats. My wife... not so much. She keeps hers pumped up to the highest position to avoid the seat bouncing. That really is why she needs that extra support under her feet. We too have tried cushions, but something solid works much better. The wood block is large enough that she can securely stand up on it when she is getting up from the seat.
As for reclining, yes, the passenger seat reclines well past a 45-degree angle but not flat. One note to make here. There are two sets of holes already in the base plate for the Renegade seats. To recline, these seats must be mounted in the set of holes toward the center or away from the door. The distance inward is not great, but the benefit in reclining is.
Good luck with investigation!

Wayne,
Thanks for the great update. The tip on the base plate mounting is especially helpful. We have several dealers in our area and we are going to see if they have any in their showrooms to check them out in person. We are going to Alaska for the summer and it will be a great relief to improve the ride before we leave.
Thanks John

You are welcome, John. Just one more thing. The passenger side seat works well to mount toward the center as described. The driver side seat must be mounted using the outside holes toward the door; otherwise, the seat does not sit center of the steering wheel.
Good luck!

2021 Verona Seat

We figured the seats were affected by the supply shortages.

Agree! Just purchased a 2021 Verona. The seat does it's job basically but has much to be desired. The 2020 seat was much more comfortable and the controls and adjustments easier to find and use. The 2022+ seats seemed more comfortable than the 2021 but still shy of the 2020 ones. We will also probably be upgrading. I also think the one year of using that design was due to supply issues. Drove 1200 miles and have a significant bruise on my right calf due to the location of the slide adjustment lever which is really poorly located.

I have found the seats in our 2020 to be fairly comfortable however my wife needs more adjustments (for her back), mostly recline, which unfortunately is very limited in the 2020 seat.
Wayne, do you remember which base (SKU?) you installed? It looks like the National Air Suspension Kit base (SKU:SUS-0111) that I see on Suburban's website has 3 positions for mounting the seat while the other bases for the M2 were fixed with one set of holes. I can see how mounting the base an inch or so towards the center of the cab would make a big difference reclining the seat to clear the pillar behind the passenger.
I have called around to local dealers for Bostrom, Seats Inc., Sears and National around Madison WI. They have a very limited showroom inventory to actually sit in to check the comfort. Did you sit in any of the available seats before you selected Bostrom?
Thanks, I really appreciate your help, John

John,
I ordered these from Raney's on December 6,2021. This was in the middle of COVID, and there was nowhere in the Dallas area to test these. I called Woody at Renegade, and he highly recommended them. I was still working, Director of Operations, and using the coach to travel between six food manufacturing plants in Texas and New Mexico. Woody's recommendation was good enough for me and I have never regretted that. We did not actually receive the seats until March 15,2022. Hopefully the lead time is much better today.
The item number at Raney's, was 52014. Description was Wide Ride+Serta/Hi Pro/Hi-Back/Dual Arms/Tan Ultra-Leather. At the time it was recommended to order the Seat adapter for FL M2, but when it came time to install, these were not needed. The adapters actually were already mounted to the seats, so I had to remove them. Otherwise, the seats would have been too high. That is about all I know. Our seats do have two mounting holes. If three is an option, I do not see how you can go wrong with that.
Good luck!
Wayne
