Verona VSB Ground Clearance

Hello Verona owners - need your help. I’m in the market for a Verona VSB (2018 or 2019) but am concerned about getting it up (and down) my steep driveway without dragging the hitch - so I’m asking VSB owners for the distance from level ground to the bottom part of their hitch. My current rig is a 2007 Gulf Stream Conquest Kodiak C5500 chassis - 33’ overall length. I have 16” clearance - bottom of hitch to ground - and I clear the driveway concrete by about 4” . Any help is appreciated.

Another factor to consider is distance from axle to hitch. If you look at a Dynamax they have a relatively short wheelbase and tend to drag frequently. That's the benefit of the Renegades. Longer wheelbase.

Ok on my 2021 Verona 36 VSBI have 15 1/2" under the hitch. The back of the hitch is about 9 feet from the center-line of the rear axle. If I inflate the rear bags I get 17". Hope this helps

Thank you for posting those measurements. Exactly what I was looking for. I have about 12’6” from my rear axle to the back of the hitch - so the shorter distance on the VSB is great news. Add in the ability to inflate the rear bags and I’ll should easily make it up/down the driveway. Thanks again - much appreciated%!
