When Raising Leveling Jacks I scrape forward!

Hello guys,

I have searched and searched but cannot find and answer to my problem.

I have a 2022 Valencia and on a level surface, with the parking brakes on, EVERY time I retract the leveling jacks, my RV slides forward on the ground scraping as it goes until the jacks break contact with the ground. It is very annoying and embarrassing and it sometimes is quite loud when it scrapes along the concrete. Anyone else have this problem?

Can anyone suggest a fix?

THANKS!

It sounds to me like the leveling jack(s) are not fully vertical so when they extend they move the coach ever so slightly in one direction so when retracted the coach tries to move in the oposite direction while the jack is not fully touching the ground which could result in a scraping noise.
Cheers, Rick

Manually retract rear first until they are off the ground then hit retract all.

Can you retract with the parking brake off ?

Just be ready to apply it again when jacks lift off the ground.

Do you have the engine running during this process? If so, when the air bag's inflate, when the chassis rises it tends to want to roll the Coach forward. My Mountain Aire use to do this, and the fix was before starting the engine, I would retract the jack's first, then start the engine.
