Ford EV F150 lightening enters pre-production.

Iím not sure what pre-production actually means, but regardless, sounds like they are getting closer to the goal. Really looking forward to a test drive.

Pre-production ( for ford) means producing x number of vehicles with early vendor supplied parts in a production environment at a slower pace. Once the vehicles get produced, they generally go to the engineering sections to validate proper compliance to what was spec'd out during product development.

For invested heavily in the Rivian electric vehicle company. If the Ford EV trucks are anything like the Rivian truck there is a good reason for excitement.
