Getting closer
Ran across this article about Next Energy ONE's battery that nearly doubled the range of a Tesla to 792 miles.
I'm hoping that in 2-3-4 years we will see a 500 mile range Class A /C motorhome.
We want our 2006 Flair to last about that long, then switch to an EV.

Who is going to supply the real estate needed to build charging stalls for the exodus of the RVing masses during their diurnal migrations?

Regardless of how much energy you can stuff into a battery pack you are still stuck with the fact that electric drive trains are a lot less efficient than mechanical drive trains. They lose 30% to 40% of their energy in waste heat compared to only 6% for a mechanical drive. This means that they will always burn more fuel and pollute more than a traditional car. That leaves the question, why should we pay twice as much for an electric car?

Interesting and thanks for posting! It's nice to be reminded that there are smart folks out there actively engaged in solving our problems.

Just what is the problem anyway? Who created the problem if there is one? Who has the wisdom to solve the problem when it is identified?

Are you deliberately trying to appear ignorant?

Don't you suppose that the much longer fueling times for EVs is going to have an impact on the existing real estate involved?

Apparently it's your mission to derail every thread related to EVs. Pretty sure nobody will force you to buy one during the remainder of your RVing days. Why don't you relax, focus your attention on something else?

I'm wondering if fossil fuels could ever be cleaned up to the point of zero emissions when burned? either thru hardware improvements or reformulation of said fuels.
