Google maps improves EV charger location. Plugshare and Tesla also.

For those towing with electric vehicles: Here’s a link to a story re the Google changes still to come. But also worth mentioning is both plugshare and Tesla are improving their apps and in vehicle data to better inform drivers of trailer friendly stalls.

From personal experience we find plugshare is handy because one can see pictures of the chargers and stalls.

Just read but not confirmed that government is stopping funding of the nation wide charge stations network?????

They're trying to, but it's not clear that DOT has that authority with the states. Congress controls the purse strings, and it's not clear even then whether or not already-allocated funds can be pulled back.

Either way, fortunately there are already quite a few out there and networks (like Tesla, Electrify America, Ionna, and most ChargePoint locations) that aren't federally funded.
