I’m glad they are looking into it. I think a lot of it has to do with improper use, but even if we can get that identified and somehow corrected that would be a plus. We have never had any issues and we drive almost exclusively on autopilot or FSD when conditions permit. But I think that is the key. Drivers should be following the instructions and disabling in construction zones, around bikes, road side obstructions like police cars etc. The message that the driver must always be in control is not being communicated well enough.
I hope they get it sorted out. It’s a great level 2 system and adds a lot of safety when used properly.
