Basement access

How hard / involved is it to drop the bottom of the basement if you want (or need) to get access directly to the tanks?

Seems like my search-foo is on the fritz, cuz I can't seem to find hardly *any* discussion, blog posts or videos on anyone doing this, short of rebuilding a damaged/gutted camper. 🤔

Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's just a hypothetical at this point, but not being able to find anything on the topic has got me curious... 😉

What make/model you thinking. Makes a difference. They all have their own quirks.

I know on my AF990 it looks like there are screws all around the edges to remove material. Most tank set-ups are suspended and don't rest on the bottom. Call the manufacturer and ask someone in the service dept.

Not really looking to call the manufacturer and have them tell me "take it to a dealer / service center". Also not asking for brand/model specific step-by step guidance. General info - regardless of brand - would be more than what I've found thus far.
