We're looking at a 2006 Alpenlite 11'6" w/slide and a used 2004 Lance w/slide (wood frame).

Comments on either?
Any place online to look for used ones online?

Any advice appreciated.

Actually those are great units and depending on the price you can't go wrong with either unit.
Places on line:

rvtraderonline.com

When we were camper shopping in 1998, the Alpenlite really impressed us,

Thanks for the info, I'll check them out. Looks like the Alpenlite is our #1 choice. But at ~$33k it's only about $5k less than a 33' toyhauler. Kind of hard to justify but we sure like the 11'6" w/slide out. We have had a 38' newmar, 16' Aerolite and now the 23' Sportsman. But with the new hobbies (BMW motorcycles) we need a bed and bike storage.

UPDATE:

After some person relating a bad experience with the Alpenlite we went looking again.

We found a 02 Lance 921 w/slide out. It has every available option incl genset and Sat dish.

Very clean and looks new. He will take $17k.

Any comments?

Thanks

Cummins
I have my second Alpenlite and this one six years. I have had a few minor things go wrong but fixed very easy. Over the years I have talked with different folks who swear that the camper they bought was the worse ever made. And that includes some who owned a Lance. If the used one is what you want and fits all your needs, then that is the one I would get.

I have an 2003 Lance 1130 for sale if interested. Used once. Wife will not climb into the bed.
It has all the options including a solar panel and awnings.
Electric remote jacks. I'll even give you the Happijack set up.

Check with the above owner of the Lance. That could be a good deal. I have a 1995 945 LANCE AND I would not sell mine. A friend just bought a 2002 Caribou with slide for $13,000. I don't think much of fleetwood but this did look nice. Try to buy one wihtout a front window. Good luck. A TC is a great RV. Rob

There is nice 2000 Bigfoot 2500 (with dry bath) on ebay, search truck camper bigfoot. I have the Bigfoot 3000 which we like a lot but because of its size we would prefer to have the 2500. And FYI i have solved the bad step problem that is normally a neg feature of Bigfoot...if you are interested contact me. IWD
