Mattress Topper

We just bought our first truck camper it's a 2006 Lance 951. I'm looking for mattress topper recommendations. I'm a big guy, my wife wants one that is cool and doesn't have the chemical smell if that's possible? I'm a costco member or could buy it on Amazon.
Thanks for any help

We love our Costco topper(s). Previous coach had full size twins so we bought two. Current coach has an RV king so I trimmed one a bit and we’re still using them.

I sleep hot and have no issues. No smell.

Regards,

Randy

Forget the mattress topper and get a full mattress replacement. We have a Nectar memory foam mattress. Doesn't sleep hot and is a touch more firm than the TempurPedic Cloud I have at home. It's not a light mattress however. We tried a mattress topper from Costco at first and it was a no go. I continued to have back aches sleeping on it. Finally got the Nectar and we've been happy ever since. BTW the Nectar came with a 365 day money back trial. You can't beat that.

I would bite the bullet and get a new mattress. I bought a new Arctic Fox 1150 and the mattress (9") was terrible. I added a 3" memory foam topper from Amazon and that actually made it worse. We sent the topper back and gave away the mattress and bought a new Hybrid mattress from QVC. It's a combo inner spring and foam mattress. It's 11" high but doesn't cause any issues in our camper.

replacing uncomfortable mattress

We replaced our mattress completely with an 8" memory foam with some concern but very happy with the results, enough that we purchased a new mattress for our winter unit in Florida and on return to Ontario Can we purchased one for our home here. My wife always complained of not sleeping well BUT that changed. As for the smell, it was not very bad as they tell people that the area needs to be aired out for I think it was like a day. We have travelled across Canada sleeping ever night in out t/c with no problems

Check the Dynasty brand on Amazon. We had one in our Class C and really enjoyed it. Many sizes.

We ordered one from Amazon but it was delayed so I bought one from Costco and returned the other after it was delivered. No complaints from the costco one

Latex

We ordered a 100% latex topper from Amazon, not cheap by any means, but oh so durable and comfortable. Tried other foams and much too hot.
