Well...making progress on alot of little issues, all over, these past days. My plan for this morning was to get up under the fiberglass roof, and assess what needs to be addressed there. Low and behold...found the area of main water intrusion, and more luan rot on the sub roof. The roof vent for the gray water tank was the main area that water was coming in. I figured that was the case, but getting up close with the roof has verified that. Gonna patch in some luan panels, spray them with primer, and add a little more foam in the centerline to help shed water side to side. That, and re-sealing everything on the roof, will make things good for years to come. 👍😁

Josh, here are a couple shots of how your roof looks, under the fiberglass shell.

Stay tuned...

WHEW!!!!! Those 80's adhesives were the sticky shizz!!!! Took forever, it seemed, to remove the rotted sections of ply. That last layer is the worst. It fights you all the way to the end!!! UGH!!

Got the roofing underlayment replaced, and my brothers came up and helped set the roof skin back in place. It doesn't look so exploded now. YAY!! Just popped off the original, 33 y.o., particle board countertops, and shored up the framing underneath. Replacing some skins under both sides here,as well. It seems to never ends...

Also, figuring out how I want to attack, rebuild of the skirts, and...got some tinkering time, in the garage. Wrenched on, and got cleaned, working, and tested, both the Hydro Flame, furnace, and the Dometic refrigerator. Blower on furnace is squeK free and the fridge runs on all 3 power sources. WOW!!! Somebody up there likes me. 😁

Stay tuned...

Wow! Great progress! Glad your appliances are working. I assume we have the same fridge and I think it has a reputation for not being great but mine works well, too.

You’re well on your way, keep up the good work.

Gor the new counter tops cut and fit. Waiting for the laminate to come in, and I can get those glued on and then install them. Maybe theorizing and painting before that tho, just to keep from getting paint where it doesnt belong. Moving along...

Josh, that is the Magic Chef cook top Iliberated from the oven. May put a microwave down in that hole. We'll see.

Pro tip: When using butyl tape, and re-sealing RV windows/parts, etc., in the summer...store tape in a cool spot until ready to attach to window/part. 😉

Looking really good! If you reproduce the front Western Wilderness decal I may be interested.

Thanks Josh. Yeah...I'm gonna try and recreate the rear one, in silver, with black outline, as well.

Stay tuned.
