Does anyone out there know of a slide-in camper with something like a double door, or a door wide enough that I could load a dirt bike through it? A pop-up type would be preferable and the lighter the better. It doesn't have to be very fancy inside. I've looked around on the internet but haven't seen anything that would work but I saw one on the freeway a while back and I'd sure like one like that.

I can't use the reciever carriers I see offered. I camp in a lot of remote areas and at times have to cross deep washouts that cause the bumpers, high as they are on my Ram/Cummins,to drag; a carrier would add a couple feet to that space behind the wheels.

An old fool who should be giving up dirt bikes.......

Is a small trailer out of the question?
We have a Lance 1130 and have towed our trailer with two ATV's off road to a campground.

p.s. Welcome to the site!
p.p.s. Get a rack for the front of the truck to carry the bike.

Have you looked at Four Wheel campers (fourwheelcampers.com/products.htm)? They have an shell model and they might beable to build you a version with a larger door.
