Just for comparison; while in Alaska I didn't see a frost-heave and hit it at ~45 MPH. A month after we got back home I noticed a crack in the filon siding of our 5er. I filed a claim, not mentioning the frost-heave incident. The adjuster said it was frame failure, and the aluminum framing was faulty; claim denied.
I took the 5er back to the factory for inspection. Yes the aluminum framing was broken, but they denied it was faulty. I had them repair all damage and paid out of pocket.
You can't win against and insurance company unless you have deeper pockets.
