We're going to try one more time to day, full strip down, unscrewing every screw. Will post details later this afternoon!

Buy and install a new spark electrode
Clean up connectors/wire connections/circuit board surface contacts

Good luck!

Make sure the gas line, valve, & oriface is clean. Spiders love propane and will web up your gas appliances causing low gas flow.

Well, the rain came and we lost our momentum! I think we'll be back at it this weekend, so press pause on this thread, sorry everyone!

I will definitely take pics!

Is your sail free to move and actuate its switch for air movement signal. Test switch

I changed my furnace after finding a bat in exhaust, and bee nest in squirrel cage. Still new unit wouldn't start. Found it to be the electrical plug in to it had spread open contacts, pushed them closed with a small awl and voila, still running.

Yes, we are definitely making it past that. The beginning of the post was not getting past ignition... now we're getting an ignition and it only burns for 5 seconds and repeats the cycle every 15 seconds.

Oh! I'll share this with my husband! He did pull it out again last night and stripped it down, every part he could un-screw he did, the thing looks brand new! Only difference here is we're getting it to start, and a 5 second burn, and shut off, and cycles the same pattern every 15 seconds.

It sounds like the flame sensor thermocouple. The blower should come on for gas exhaust prior to ignition and stay on while burning. The sail switch being bad would not let ignition happen.

I wonder if it’s something we can grab today while we’re shopping. Sorry, been bad at keeping all the suggestions straight but this definitely makes sense!

Thank you! Will be sure to get that done first!
