To this. The new Honda Talon doesn't use a CVT belt drive transmission like other SxSs, it's a dual range 6 speed, geared tranny.

My 2008 side by side is street legal. I put turn signals a side and rear view mirror. I even put a third brake light. Had it certified by the local town cop and now have plates and insurance. I also changed out the off road tires to 15inch mud and snow car tires. The don't wear out like the off road tires do.

Flat tow our Wrangler Sahara. When in camp, allws us to explore BLM, runs to town, you name it.

I've added the street legal kit and hope to get a non-resident plate in Utah or Arizona - it's not possible in Colorado at this time. I'll be headed that way shortly, Covid stopped me last March.
