10 x 20

I work in a retail store that sells, among other things, canvas tarps. A middle-age woman and her son asked if I could answer a question for them, I said sure, and this is the conversation:

Me: What is it you are looking for?
Customer: I need a tarp to put over my dog run, and the run is 16 feet long. This tarp says it is 10 X 20, does that mean it is 10 feet long, or 20?
Me, keeping a straight face: Ma'am, that tarp will be long enough to cover the dog run.
Customer: If it is too short, can I bring it back?
Me (still keeping a straight face): Of course.

So far, they have not returned the tarp. It's been a week.
