And that's when the fight started...#4

The Mis-informed Wife
My wife and I were sitting at a table at her high school reunion, and
she kept staring at a drunken man swigging his drink as he sat alone at
a nearby table.
I asked her, "Do you know him?"
"Yes", she sighed,
"He's my old boyfriend.... I understand he took to drinking right after
we split up those many years ago, and I hear he hasn't been sober
since."
"My World!" I said, "Who would think a person could go on celebrating that
long?"
And that's when the fight started....

As the wife would say "Ooo! you're bad", to which I respond, "...but I'm good at it", but the fight did not start until I introduced her by her clan or tribal name, Three Horses. Nag, Nag, Nag! Only then was I in deep trouble.

You're right! DWs can be terribly unforgiving ! A friend of mine pointed that out by asking " if you lock your wife and your dog in the trunk of the car for say 5 minutes, which one will be happy to see you when you let them out"

One of the best lines I've ever heard was from an old "Everybody Loves Raymond", Marie is telling someone that she "...was Frank's trophy wife." Frank turns around and says, "Trophy wife! What contest from hell did I win?"
