The sanding truck should have backed down the hill, at least that would have put the sand in front of him for traction.

Back when I was a working stiff. We had a collection of over 150 Traffic Cameras that were operated from our office. Never saw one involving a bus.. (Though I passed one on my way TO work, it was not as big but much nastier. I had to help identify the deceased based on her key ring believe it or not. and yes. I got it done. I'm that good at my job).

But many times we sat there and watched the accidents pile up on the big screen. Best show on TV.

Many years ago, one slippery morning I came upon a red light at an intersection at the bottom of a dip. Brakes did nothing I could see that I wouldn't be able to stop. I check for cross traffic and it was clear, then I saw a police car coming from the opposite direction and figured it was ticket time. Well as I slid through the intersection I looked over and saw the cop doing the same thing. As he slid through with 4 wheels locked he looked over and gave a shrug of his shoulders. Neither of us made it up the hill past the intersection and slid back down and took the cross street. In opposite directions.

Glenn
