Sure, you can pet them.
No, but on a clear day you can see Alaska.
No, only during the day. We have it on a timer.
About 50%, much like your IQ.

During college, a friend worked in Custer State Park (South Dakota) at one of the entrance stations. When a family of tourists asked where they could find the buffaloes, she told them, "They're usually found up in the trees." The tourists returned to the entrance station after going through the park and said they spent the entire time looking up at the trees and never saw any buffalo. I guess they took her direction literally.

In Florida, on a golf course, "Those are not real alligators, they wouldn't allow dangerous creatures on a golf course".

Or a person I know called police to report an alligator on her lawn, on a creek, in Florida. Y
Up, she's from NYC and has a doctorate in law.

Personal experience. When in college, my girlfirend, now my wife of 45 years, called to ask me to change her flat tire. Making small talk while I changed the tire, she asked "why is it only flat on the bottom?"

When hubcaps still had names on them a junior worker was told to make sure the caps were on straight after a tire change which he did. When the car had been moved the mechanic said the boy did I not tell you to put the hubcaps on straight now look at them and fix it.

Similar , after a tire rotation , car owner told the mechanic ( after this we didn't allow customers into the shop , long before liability rules ) he hadn't done the rotation correctly because the valve stems weren't in the same position on every wheel .
