I think she's trying to give me a heart attack.

The wife and I are out for a sunday drive in our 4x4 Tahoe. We end up on a trail that is slowly getting to be too much for the Tahoe. We come to a graded road that was so steep That on the way back I stopped at the top of the hill. I Put the Tahoe in Park and set the emergency brake. This hill was so steep I thought it would be a great picture for our jeep group. At the bottom of this grade it makes a 90 deg turn to the right. If you go straight it goes strait of a cliff, there is a 2 ft berm and that's it.
As i snap the picture the Tahoe starts to roll down the grade. My wife is seat belted in the passenger seat. I start to have a heart attack and as it comes down the grade I'm having all kinds of thoughts. The sun is glaring on the window so I cant see her. At the last minute I jump out of the way and the Tahoe makes the turn. I'm standing there wondering what the hell just happened. She jumps out of the drivers seat and yells at me REALLY you didn't even try to save me. You jumped out of the way. Ok Now I'm sure I should have thought my next response through a little better but it came out, someone had to go for help. I was still in shock. She didn't want me to walk back up the hill and jump in the drivers seat.
2 months later my jeep group is on waterfall suddenly one of the guys starts to freak out you jeeps rolling down the mtn, then they all started freaking out. I Your wife is in the jeep. Alright I have already seen this trick before. I respond let her go there both insured. My friends wives we not amused. I still laugh at them over that one.

When the wife and I were dating, I was spending a lot of time from April to November in the boonies, setting up my mining camp and dredging for gold, all bear country. She was worried about the bears and asked me about how I stayed safe. I told her I had a system, I put mothballs around camp and stuff. First time she went with me she had to know about the rest of my system, so being a smart alec I popped off, "I always take somebody with me I can out run."

That was nearing 20 years ago and I still sleep with one eye open!
