In the summers I ranger on a beach. Last summer some guys in a Jeep flagged me down saying a car was stuck on the access trail. It didn’t register until I found it and realized it really was a car and not a 4WD vehicle. In spite of all the warning signs he had made it 100 feet before sank in the sand. Two days later a Honda Civic pulled the same stunt. I asked where he was going and he showed me his phone. “To this parking lot up by the lighthouse”. The GPS app failed to mention the 5 miles of deep sand he has to navigate.
