Not the first
and not the last person this has/will happen to. go to dump the black tank while in Bishop CA. Remove the cap(holy crap) valve was open. Damn.

In over 50 years of RV'ing I've had that happen exactly twice. Both times were right after camping in a private club campground that we belonged to. The groundskeeper disliked us and had lots of time to do his devious work. Started locking the compartment and never had anymore trouble. They later kicked the troublemaker out of the club too.

Had that happen at the FMCA rally in Redmond, OR. Very disappointing.

They have caps with a 3/4 or standard water hose fitting.
On this you can put a plastic ball valve with a hose cap.
You remove cap and open ball valve and if dry good...if wet then close and shut gate valve then open ball to drain small amout of mistake...

I have placed a clear 90 which is capped. If danger is lurking you will know.

Bilge I have one of those. Didn't know you could tow with it on. I guess as long as it is capped it's ok.
