Pastor Johnson was a guest speaker for a local high school and was waxing eloquent about the virtues of temperance.
The teenagers were not impressed and apparently, some of them doubted his honesty on the matter.
As he reached the end of his speech, he stood tall and with a bit of pride and arrogance said, “I have lived in this town all my life. in this town there are twenty-five public houses that sell liquor, and I am proud to say that I have never been in one of them!"
One of the teenagers shouted from the back of the room, "Which one is that?"
