Then he added 40 to that number and that he still gave you lots of presents since you really weren't that bad and the final number was the date of your birth.
For those of you, like me that had trouble wuth aritmetic, here is that 'equation:
78(beginning number) - 65 (your age
) + 40 = 53 presents (DOB is 1953)
