How about when someone tries to pluralize RPM to RPMs.
It's already plural! Revolutions per Minute.
RPMs is revolutions per minutes.

I'm just wondering if my hot water heater will work if the salesman switch is off?

Happy Glamping.

You would have to specify the number of minutes. Let's see: 3,400 revolutions per two minutes. OK

Why do we drive on our "Parkways" and park on our "Driveways"?

Kind of off point but why do we heat up hot dogs? If they are hot why do they need heating?

So true, but also why call them hot "dogs".

Oh the wonders of our language. No wonder we mess up on communicating clearly some days.

Just use an old black pot and a campfire to heat water. Very simple and it works, no 12v or salesman required.
