Has everybody gone COVID-19 isolation , bored/crazy.
I loved the little story; be it true or not ; about Isaac Newton and his inventing , calculus , during his recovery form the black plague .
Do you have any idea how bored you'd have to be to invent calculus???
DW, says I'm spending too much time on the internet .

So it should be the " Deposit Redemption Center " .
When can we start the protest ! I've got plenty of cardboard ( waiting for Recycling center to open ) and left over paint ; for the signs.

Although your 1993 uses separate controls/t-stats for the Electric and the propane BOTH should heat to same water temp
Electric takes LONGER to reach t-stat set point then propane does
But unless different temp set point t-stats were used ----same temp HOT water should be coming out of hot water heater

So to further elaborate on this:
If it was a hot water heater, then that would imply that cold water would not be heated.
If it was a cold water heater, then that would imply that once it reached temperature, it would not maintain the temperature.
Being properly called a water heater, it ignores the input waters temperature and heats it regardless.
We all know that water heaters have a maximum threshold. There is also an implied minimum threshold, also given in the name, as it is not intended to heat a solid (aka: ice).
(Man, this is a lot more fun to discuss than other topics on the interwebs !)

A water heater heats cold water and maintains the heat of hot water. There it is, so simple, yet so misunderstood.
Oh, also my coach has a battery disconnect switch, but no salesman switch.

Keyword here being "should". Old vehicles tend to develop personalities and sometimes a few "shoulds" tend to go out the window. Electric heats up to about 110F, propane 130F. Don't know or care why. I would suppose an elderly heating element would be at fault if I were to guess. All I know is for reason reason is my wife's apparently delicate skin is steam proof or something and she complains if the dishwater isn't hot enough. A problem I discovered is could be remedied by also firing up the propane. Simple, works, not messing with it.
