Haha! Being a native Texan, I can relate to this! However, we're looking at 15 degrees Monday night here in north Texas. Yikes! Gotta get the blankets on the horses!

This is our first time in Texas and it may be warmer than our home state of Michigan, but it's still winter here. I'm waiting for the weather to be warm and would love some hot weather too. I've got time. I'll be patient. We are here until March.

LOL, yes this is an unusually cold winter for South texas, normally we only get a single night or two near 32 degrees, most of the rest of Jan and Feb hovers in the 40's 50's with some dips into the upper 30's a few days.

We get two weeks of 70 degree weather 2 times a year. Once in March, Once in November... the rest of the year is hades.

I live about 2 miles north of downtown Weatherford... in the country it gets colder than in town. We had 8 degrees this morning at 6:30 when we left for the grocery store. And... I'm ready for it to warm up a bit.

It was cooler in Tejas the here on the normally frozen tundra of Upstate New York. I do recall an August business trip to El Paso and walked out of a meeting and looked at a bank thermometer which said 116*F - hope that recollection warmed things up a bit.
