Is the '58 Chevy the Car of the Day?

I once had a picture (cartoon sketch) of a stove made out of wood. It was labeled "A Wood Burning Stove, single use.
Wish I still had it. I think it burned up.

I once had a sleeper 1958 Chevy bel air, 327 W/ fuel injection from a 1962 corvette. Worst part is, today I complain about street racers.

Wonder if they started with an ambulance to be able to carry the extra weight? Rear suspension must be really stout...

We are watching a show on Prime called Cruising the Cut about narrow boats in the UK canals. 50-60 or more feet long and about 5 feet wide. The normal heating source is a coal burning fireplace, stack through the roof. They do have radiators for when underway and the diesel engine is running plus propane for the stove.

I had a '58 Chebbie as a winter work beater about 1970. Paid a whopping $35 for it and then sold it in the spring for ... $35. Six cylinder, Powerglide and could barely get of its way. For winter, great car with no icy road rear wheel spin due to lack of power. Great carfor that use
