I like the first one. I was talking to my 8 year old Grandson the other day about when we were kids. First he couldn't believe we didn't have video games or IPADS ect. Then he asked what we did for fun and I told him we played outside, played sports, camped out and stuff like that. We talked a little more and I told him that the TV Channels went off the air at 11pm every night and they played the Star Spangled Banner. He then said well at least you could watch Videos if you wanted to stay up late. I explained to him we didn't have Video systems back then....But what really blew his mind was that we had to get up and change the TV channels by hand, as there were no remote controls back then. He has been looking for the "TV Knobs" ever since. Funny how much we've changed in a relatively short period of time.

The changes can go on forever but rotary phones, headlight buttons on the floor, and cream on top of the milk bottle might be ones they will never know.

A lot of changes in a little time. Moon landing is ancient history for them.

I was at McDonald's the other day and struck up a conversation with a young mother of two young teen boys. I mentioned I used to work at a McDonald's when I was a teenager, and back then we had to write down all orders, along with the prices, then add the list long hand coming up with the total. The young man looked at me and asked why I didn't use the app on my cell phone? The Mom asked "what's long hand?"

We had a cash register to print out an itemized (numbers only) receipt and add up the item total, but we had to look up the tax due on the purchase using a tax table taped next to the register.
