What Do You Listen While Traveling?

We recenly stopped at a popular Basque resturaunt in Winnemucca, NV for communal dining where we met a couple, who were also travling through and introduced us to Autio https://autio.com/explore. After we go back on the road we downloaded the app and began listening to fascinating short stories about the communities and history along our route to to our next destination. We are hooked!! What do you listen to?

I much prefer listening to podcasts instead of listening to music while traveling and it looks like Autio would be a perfect fit. Thanks for the heads up!

Smile

I like listening to talk radio/AM radio. If the wife is driving I will listen to podcasts on my phone through my hearing aids, blue tooth.

Otherwise it will be Christian radio/FM radio.

"Willie, there's a cloud in your bus."

"Yeah, don't tell Cheech and Chong."

I listen to anything that isn't political or religious, preferably not opera or "cry in your beer" country.

The Autio app sounds way interesting, like having a geography / history docent in the RV for the trip. Thanks for the suggestion!

We're Sirius subscribers as well, usually tune in the 60's (especially if Plash is one!), the Beatles or one of the other specialty events they might have going on.
The Autio programming reminds me of the Smithsonian Aerial America series, I'm addicted to them.

Audio books, specifically the Longmire series by Craig Johnson. Also I've got a bunch of podcasts too.

How does the app know where you are; never mind the app monitors your phone GPS.

x 2

And NASCAR

I will look into the app mentioned. My wife used to like to look up the small towns we traveled through. I miss that over the past year and a half without her.
